Clare’s last day of school

I can’t believe Clare is done with preschool!!  Clare had such a great time!  She learned so much this year and had so many fun experiences along the way.  Clare’s class had a cute little graduation ceremony to celebrate the end of the year.  They called each child up to the front of the class for their diploma and they each got an award.  Clare’s award was “Most likely to comfort a friend”.  It’s so cute that she was recognized for that since she’s always so concerned for others.  Afterwards they had a pizza party for everyone and it was so much fun for Clare to have one last lunch with her friends…until they are in Pre-K!

Laurie and Austin’s Wedding

Conor and I traveled a few weeks ago to Chicago for Laurie and Austin’s wedding!  The weekend was so much fun and of course it went by too fast.  We arrived friday mid day.  I went straight to the Drake hotel to meet the girls for tea while Conor got settled in the hotel and then met the guys for a late lunch.  After we met back up and rested for a bit we headed to the wedding site, the Rookery for the rehersal and then on to Japonais for the rehersal dinner.  It was so much fun to catch up with everyone while eating a delicious dinner.  Saturday was wedding day!!!  We all met up with the beautiful bride at her condo and took a trolley bus all around Chicago taking pictures at some of their favorite spots.  After that it was wedding time.  Such a gorgeous ceremony and reception!  Thanks to Laurie and Austin for letting us be a part of your special day!  Here are the few pictures I took with my camera…

Clare’s Spring Play

Clare had her spring play at school last week.  It was quite the performance!  Each preschool and pre k class performed 2-3 songs and they had a grand finale at the end.  The kids were so adorable and of course I thought Clare did a great job!  The first song was so funny I could barely hold the camera steady I was laughing so hard.  Here are some pictures from the play.

31 weeks??

Thought I would update everyone on the pregnancy.  I think (I’m almost positive) that I’m 31 weeks, almost 32?  With your third pregnancy is a little harder to keep track.  But I’m feeling good, just a little tired.  I feel so horrible because I don’t really have any belly pictures of baby #3.  So I’ll post the two that I’ve taken in the last couple of weeks.  I can’t believe my baby girl will be here in 8 weeks (I had the last two a week early so I’m counting on that this time).

29 weeks. Please excuse the no makeup.

31 weeks. So I guess not a lot has changed in the past few weeks.

Sea Life Aquarium with Carson and Brooke

Monday morning we met Sarah, Carson and Brooke at Sea Life Aquarium.  The kids are really into sea life right now so it was so cool for them to see everything in person (again, we had Palmer’s bday party there in february).  It was funny because as we pulled up to pay for parking Palmer started protesting “Nooooo!!  Toy Story party!!  Toy Story Cake!!”.  He actually remembered his birthday party was there and wanted to make sure I knew that he wanted a Toy Story party instead of one at Sea Life.   But it was so much fun to go back and actually enjoy the aquarium.  My friend Sarah has a very different (yet hilarious!!) account of that morning.

This was so cute!! Brooke and Palmer held hands the entire way to the parking lot. They kept smiling at each other and saying "hi". I just know they are getting married one day!!

Thought I would throw this picture in here. We went out to golden spoon that night. Yummy!!!

Baby Shower

My friends were so sweet to throw me a beautiful baby shower this past weekend!!  Courtney hosted it at her house and I’ve never been to a shower decorated so gorgeous!  They had an amazing brunch spread with every type of breakfast food you can imagine.  From casseroles to pastries and bagels (my personal favorite)…everything was delicious.  We played a really funny game where Danielle played a short clip from a song that had the word baby or girl and we had to write down the song title and artist.  Some of the songs were hilarious!!  I of course didn’t come close to winning (some of the songs were before my time ;) , but it was so much fun.  We finished with presents and dessert.  Baby Emerson got tons of frilly girly clothes!!!  She is one lucky little girl!  So thanks to all my friends for such a fabulous morning.

Mother’s Day Weekend

I apologize for the lack of posts in the recent weeks!!  I was having some technical difficulties redesigning and organizing my blog, but I think we’re back in business.  But I have a lot to catch you up on!  Mother’s day weekend was so much fun.  Auntie Sara came over friday night for a little visit with the kids and we were able to get some well needed girl time (watching grey’s and indulging in ice cream sandwiches, yum!).  Saturday the kids and I stayed at home to play while Conor played golf at Torrey Pines.  Mother’s Day was wonderful!  The kids took me to Cheesecake Factory for brunch followed by an evening at Gran and Grandpa’s house.  The kids ran wild while Grandpa and Uncle Corbin tried to convince me to get a minivan.  Even though they were very convincing I don’t think a minivan is a car for me!

I love being a mommy to these little cuties!

Laurie’s Bachelorette Weekend!!

Hi friends!  Clare had a great time in Tucson this past weekend!  Clare spent the weekend with Nana and Tata and I was able to party with my Theta girls for Laurie’s bachelorette party.  Both of us had a blast.  Here are some pictures of the time spent with Nan and Tat:

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

Hi friends!  We’ve been busy, busy little bees over here at the Donnelley house!  We’re in the middle of two seasons: tax season and birthday party season.   All the fun began with Palmer’s birthday party at sea life aquarium and we’ve done so many fun things since then.  We’ve gone to a birthday party at a dance studio, partied at the beach and got our jump on at Pump it up!

So cute in their handmade tutus!

The whole gang

We also celebrated my bday at the end of february!  I can’t believe that was my last birthday celebrated in my twenties….especially since I feel like I’m 45!  hehe.  My friends treated me to dinner at this new, very cool restaurant called Flavor.

Boy does it look like I ate a lot of birthday cake!

Yay!! I lived another year...

What else can I update everyone (Julie and Sara) on??  Well I’ll be 6 months pregnant tomorrow!  This baby girl is practicing kick boxing on my bladder…all day long.  I can’t believe I’m already more than half way through this pregnancy.  She’s going to be here before you know it.

I will leave you with a funny story from this morning.  Palmer is obsessed with saying the word “poo poo” (and what boy isn’t?).  Today, I was putting on his shoes and I said “Palmer, you smell like…??” long pause and Palmer replies “poo poo???”  and I said “no, I think you smell like a waffle”.  And he goes “NO!!! Poo poo!!!”  He proceeded to cry.
